The students from Matai  spent  Monday out in the community getting a feel for what work is really like. Most chose a job that they are possibly interested in and then volunteered their time  to gain an insight into what is actually involved with this career.

An insightful interesting day  had by all, well done Matai, you rock!

Creating New Zealand

Our topic of in our back yard and over our fence had the students pair up and produce maps of NZ showing topography and outline of coastline . Labelling of cities and major disasters was the last touch following our study of disasters .
